Posadas are a commemoration to the story of Jesus's birth in the Bible. The Virgin Mary and St. Joseph were in search for a place to stay where Jesus could be born. Posadas reenact Mary and Joseph's search for shelter during their journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to have been a part of the many Masses, celebrations, and events over these past years here at St. Hilary Parish, St. Padre Pio Parish, and St. Hilary School. There are so many people and organizations to thank that I cannot begin to list them all. Thank you to the Parish Pastoral Council for the beautiful crystal tribute that you see me holding in this picture. Thank you to the faculty and students of St. Hilary School for their lovely tribute of cards and gorgeous orchid. Thank you to our clergy who shepherd us. Thank you to our choir members and other musicians that have shared their talent and time to create something beautiful for the parish. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to coordinate a truly fantastic send-off party. And, of course, thank you to the congregation that supports this terrific parish. I hope that I’ve played some things that have inspired you during my time here.
Thank you! Carl Chadek |
